Life 3 Demonstration in Singapore

9 Jul - 11 Jul

This is a long due post on the workshop that Life3 held in Singapore at the beginning of July 2012.

Life3 is made up of 3 very famous and accomplished floral designers- Per Benjamin, Max van De Sluis and Tomas De Byrune.
They came together after a World Cup floral competition and have worked together ever since to bring wonders to the floral world.

It was a rare opportunity for the 3 of them to turn up together in Asia and thus, it was a MUST-ATTEND workshop for me. We had a fun-filled 3-day session with theories and hands-on. Of course, the 3 of them did many arrangments which were eye-opener for us who attended the workshop.

Per Benjamin's session was mainly on colours- how colours can be in harmony. He also used materials such as wool for his arrangements and this thought us that we can use many other materials other than flowers.

Max awed the participants with his creative and magnificient bridal bouquets which were really beautiful. His pieces really inspired and motivated me a lot to want to create equally stunning pieces for my brides.

Tomas showed us how table arrangements could be done creatively with structures. His pieces were stunning and I would love to be seated at a table where the arrangements are done by him.

It was really a wonderful and fulfilling 3-day session with the masters. How I wish they can be here in Asia more frequently so that we do not have to wait for another 10 years before they come together.

I am now more confident to bring better and more creative arrangements for my customers!
