Everything Green!

Green, often associated with gardens and freshness is often a popular choice during weddings. Soft on the hues, a green bouquet will look fabulous but not taking away the glamour and limelight from the bride.

A bride with long style calla lilies bouquet always looks elegant and great on her big day.

White roses are beautiful

White and green has always been a popular combination for weddings. White represents purity and elegance while some greens make the bouquet natural without loosing the grace.

This particular bouquet is mainly made up of white roses with beads to create a dainty feel. They are surrounded by Abrot Anoides, green hypericium and finally pittosporum leaves. The stems are tied using strings which resemble ropes for a different feel and look.

Suitable for poolside or garden weddings.

Of Pink and Green

Pink is a sweet colour and it is a popular choice of colour for many brides- to- be. Some greens are usually added to bouquets for a more natural touch.

A bouquet of pink hydrangea with green cymbidium and gold phoenix, decorated with satin green ribbon gives a garden feel for the wedding.

A reverse of the colours of hydrangea and cymbidium changes the feel of the bouquet. A ball of green hydrangea with pink cymbidium surrounded by ruscus leaves is a sweet bouquet for brides who want a bouquet which consists of flowers that are exotic and exudes an air of elegance.

Pink and green bouquets can look pretty if some whites are added. The next bouquet is composed of sweet pink and white roses, surrounded by pittosporum leaves. The stems of the flowers are decorated with pink satin ribbon and white beads. The white roses are further decorated with white beads for a dainty feel.

Finally, green hydrangea can be paired with sweet pink roses, surrounded by pittosporum leaves for the classic pink and green feel.

Wedding bouquets for wedding shots

A couple friend approached my hubby for pre-wedding outdoor shoot in
June last year and I had the honour of producing 2 bridal bouquets for the bride to be used in the photoshoot.

The first bouquet consisted of white roses and eustomas, accentuated with green hypericium and baby's breath. The bouquet holder was decorated with green satin ribbon and it was a simple, sweet posie for the bride.

The next bouquet was made up of white calla lilies and baby's breath, accentuated with some bear grass to soften the look of the bouquet.

Long calla lilies made the bride look elegant and poise and it was certainly a great complement to the couple's idea of natural beauty.
